We are looking to hire a Controls Account Manager in Cincinnati, OH for the growing team, where you will be responsible for developing trusting customer relationships, business development and maximizing account share and customer retention with engineering consultants and building owner accounts.

This position is hybrid, meaning you can work from home 1-2 days per week as designated by your manager.

Role responsibilities:

Based in Cincinnati, OH, if successful, you will utilize your knowledge to consult and develop HVAC control solutions that tackle customers’ building efficiency challenges. You will be responsible for ascertaining customer needs to nurture relationships whilst also monitoring market opportunities and projects to further revenue and market share.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process
  • Develop and execute an account-specific business plan
  • Assist customers in answering technical questions on HVAC controls, products, and relevant industry issues.
  • Travel to customer job sites is required

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC systems and working knowledge of HVAC controls and be able to read and develop building/controls schematics. We would also be open to hearing from candidates within related fields such as fire, security lighting etc. as long as you have experience selling to engineering firms and understand schematics.
