Semiconductor Sales Engineer – Paris or Lyon

We have a new opportunity to join a globally recognised Semiconductor manufacturer.  With a great reputation in global markets serving some of the best OEM’s and Industrial customers, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to join the team located in either Paris or Lyon.

You will be joining a recognisable brand, actively supplying integral IC’s to well-known companies.

Responsibilities

  • To market and sell the company’s range of Semiconductor products into Industrial, EMS and CEM customers in the designated sales area
  • To proactively build new relationships, as well as managing existing relationships with customers to develop market share
  • To liaise with development engineers to design-in new Semiconductor solutions
  • To analyse and understand the market potential to accurately forecast future sales revenue, to report to the Sales Management
  • Cover the whole Sales Territory, focusing on key strategic areas of Paris and Lyon

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 2 years’ electronic component sales experience
  • Electronic Engineering Degree is essential
  • Ability to have technical conversations with engineering department to suggest and promote company’s products and their capabilities
  • Demonstrable commercial success in previous roles
  • Willingness to travel within defined geographic area, as well as occasional travel abroad as and when needed
  • Happy to work from a Home Office setup with regular visits to regional sales offices
  • Must be able to live and work in France
